Terms and Conditions

OUR GUARANTEE

Meals are guaranteed to have a shelf life of 5 days, from the date of production. Meals must be refrigerated at 35-40 degrees. If within the 5-day guaranteed shelf life, you think that any product is not right, freeze it and return it to Ultimate Food Essentials Delivery Driver. You will receive a replacement meal (equal or similar to the one returned). If the product is not returned, no replacement will be issued.

ORDERING

All orders must be place 48-hours before the next delivery date to make the earliest delivery cutoff. If you order within the 48-hour window your first delivery will be made on the subsequent and next available delivery date. Payment is due at the time of ordering. One order form per person must be completed (ie: if a couple orders together, each person will be required to fill out a form).

HOME MEAL DELIVERY

When completing your customer profile, you are responsible for entering the correct address, including street number, apartment number, building number, zip code, Building Access Codes, correct spelling of the name of the person to whom the food is to be delivered, and accurate delivery instruction  If you provide an incorrect address and we deliver the food to that address, you must pay all charges.

***All food is prepared in a certified, licensed, sanitary, professional kitchen. We prepare your meals fresh and deliver them to your home in resealable, microwave-safe containers for convenience, though we suggest you reheat all of your food in a pan on the stove for best results. You can safely store meals for up to five days in a refrigerator set at 35°F, or in the freezer for up to 120 days (the only exception is our salads and salad greens, those cannot be frozen).

DELIVERY

Your delivery driver will deliver fresh meals on Mondays and/or Thursdays, between the hours of 6 PM and 10 PM. Delivery fees may apply according to your delivery address zip code.  The delivery driver will ring the doorbell or knock at the front door to check If you are home, if you are not home, your meals will be delivered in a thermal insulated cooler bag with ice packs and left by your front door. Your meals will stay cold for 6 – 8 hours in the hot sun. Cooler bags and ice packs must be place outside your front door for the driver to pick up, on your next delivery day. Each client is permitted to keep one reusable cooler bag free of charge. Every bag after the first free cooler bag kept by the client will come at a non-refundable $9.99 ”new bag fee” for each bag kept for longer than two weeks. Every two weeks all outstanding cooler bags will be counted and each client will be charged directly for the cooler bags over and above the 1 cooler bag allowance. The best and easiest way to avoid being charged is to simply place your cooler bags outside on delivery day before you leave for the day.  The non-refundable new bag fee ensures that your meals are kept cold and safe until you get home, and that we do not have to charge you an extra delivery fee for returning to deliver your food when you are home. If you end your service and still have more than 1 cooler bag, to avoid being charged new bag fees,  it is at your own expense that you must return the outstanding cooler bags to the kitchen at 1737 North Beck Street Unit B Salt Lake City UT, 84116. All missing bags will be charged to your credit card on file. If you decide to take a break from our service, ensure that you are up to date with your delivery bag returns to avoid being charged by returning your bags to the kitchen. The new bag fees still apply for bags returned to the kitchen over two weeks late.

If you need to change a scheduled delivery date or time, you must notify customer service 48 hours before your delivery day (ie: if you are supposed to get a delivery Monday night, you need to make changes by no later than the previous Saturday before 6pm.

Suspension of Service

Clients may suspend at any time with 48 hour notice to stop the next delivery.  If a client is going to suspend service they may do so for intervals of one whole week for up to four consecutive weeks. To suspend service:

  2. Tell us the start date of when you wish to suspend your service.

  3. And tell us how long you wish to suspend for (4 week Maximum).

  4. We can only suspend your deliveries for a weekly period (7 days minimum) ( 4 weeks maximum)
  5. For suspensions of service longer more that 4 weeks we will have to temporarily cancel your account. Tell us your suspension start date, and call us when you want to restart your service at which point we will determine your next possible delivery date.

Delivery drivers will not pick up bags from clients who do not have a scheduled delivery.  When you suspend service you are still responsible for returning all outstanding delivery bags at your own expense to avoid the new bag fee(s) after two weeks. Important Things to Remember When Placing Your Order

  1. When you enter your profile, check your information carefully. If you provide incorrect information and Ultimate Food Essentials is unable to deliver or delivers to the wrong address, you are responsible for food payment and other invoiced charges. Also, after you place your order, carefully check all information on your invoice, and call or Email customer service if there is an error.

  2. If you need to change a scheduled delivery date, you must notify customer service with 48 hour notice delivery of the delivery day  (phone: 8016011906).

  3. It is your responsibility to secure your pets. If a driver is unable to make your delivery because he or she is unable to get out of the delivery vehicle, we cannot deliver. If you prefer that the driver return a second time, we will add an adjusted delivery fee to your invoice.

  4. If you live in a gated community, you are responsible for giving Ultimate Food Essentials your gate code in the second address input box on your order form. If your community has a guard station, you are responsible for making sure that the driver is given access to your address. If the delivery driver is turned away, your driver will return a second time, and we will add an adjusted delivery fee to your invoice.

VERIFICATION OF ORDERS THAT YOU PLACE ONLINE

After you order your meals online, you can print out your invoice. When you click the submit button, the order is Final and it is transmitted to Ultimate Food Essentials . We need 48 hours notice before your delivery to make any changes or corrections to your order with no penalties.

ORDER CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS

There are no long-term contracts for Ultimate Food Essentials. To cancel services, you may call customer service at any time. To begin using Ultimate Food Essentials Services again, you must pay any outstanding balance in full.

All Weekly Plans are placed in a Standard Order. This mean that we will keep delivering and billing your Account until we get a change or cancellation from you .

If you want to change your order, we need notice 48 hours before your delivery time to make any changes or corrections to your order with no penalties. (Any changes after the 48 hours dead line will be a Subject to a $50 Penalty and or loss of the food).

If you want to change an order within the 48 hour delivery window because you will not be able to receive it, you may tell us an alternate delivery location for a friend or family member free of charge.

You may cancel your order, before your first delivery, free of charge, if 48 hours before the first delivery. If you cancel after the 48 hour deadline we retain a 50% cancellation fee and credit the remaining 50% of your payment to your next order. If you cancel an order on a Monday or Thursday for that week’s delivery, there will be no refund or credit given.

REFUNDS

All refunds will be for food item credit. No exceptions!

DIETARY ALLERGIES AND PREFERENCES

Ultimate Food Essentials is not responsible for any health problems you may suffer if you fail to notify Ultimate Food Essentials with the item/items to which you are allergic, nor it is responsible if you select a meal that contains a food item that you do not prefer.

It is your responsibility to make sure you have marked your preferences clearly and checked for any food items that may cause allergic reactions.

Allergies

Ultimate Food Essentials recognizes that Some foods may cause severe allergic reactions in some people. We carefully check all ingredients in all dishes for these allergenic foods. Your safety is important to us.

Gift Cards

Gift cards can be used by someone else, you could email them or hand out the card code to the person you wanted to gift them.

please keep your gift card code secure, in case you lose your card code please contact Ultimate food Essentials immediately. Ultimate Food Essentials is not responsible to recover, reimburse , refund , your card value in case of a loss , theft,  misused or expiration .

Gift card are not refundable ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Gift Cards Expires 180 days from the day of purchase.

A la Carte meals:

We Offer A la Carte meals for convenience , A la Carte meals have limited number set to your food plan  & can only be accompanied to an existing  plan offered by Ultimate food essentials.

If you place just a la Carte meal order , it will be cancelled and money will be refunded.
